We are currently seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team in various roles, including:
Roles and Responsibilities
Layout and install Ductwork and equipment in all areas of commercial and residential sheet metal, including but not limited to:
- Interpret building plans and specifications to determine the layout for the ductwork and other materials
- Have the ability to organize other workers as well as train apprentices.
- Be able to produce drawings for custom fabrication
- locate and mark the positions for duct sleeves, fire dampers, wall hoods, louvers
- cut holes through walls and floors to accommodate ducts
- join duct sections and secure them in position with a variety of joints
- Drill holes through concrete, wood, steel to secure proper hangers
- Be able to properly use power tools to cut and assemble duct sections
- Learn to use CNC cutting machine to layout and cut sheet metal fittings
- Use shop bending, turning, and cutting machines to fabricate ductwork and fittings
- Move and install equipment such as make up air units, rooftop units, furnaces, air conditioners, fan coils, exhaust fans
- Mentor and train sheet metal apprentices
- Participate in safety inspections and ensure apprentices are following safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe working area at all times
- Follow all Pad-Car Mechanical policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Roles and Responsibilities
Complete installations, maintenance and service work in all areas of commercial and residential, including but not limited to:
- Troubleshoot equipment and controls issues on a variety of Cooling, Heating and ventilation equipment and properly repair in both residential and commercial situations.
- Installation of new air conditioning equipment
- Plan routes and locate and mark the positions, and determine proper line sizing for refrigeration lines and equipment
- Have the ability to train apprentices
- Drill/cut holes through walls and floors to accommodate pipes and hangers
- Cut, clean, and weld refrigeration lines for installations as required
- Be able to properly use power tools and torches to complete work
- Move and install equipment such as air conditioning units, pumps, coils
- Complete preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe working area at all times
- Mentor and train refrigeration apprentices
- Participate in safety inspections and ensure apprentices are following safety policies and procedures
- Follow all Pad-Car Mechanical policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Roles and Responsibilities
Layout and install heating, plumbing, and drainage line in all areas of commercial and residential plumbing, including but not limited to:
- Be able to interpret building plans and specifications to determine the layout for the plumbing and other materials
- Have the ability to organize other workers as well as train apprentices.
- Drill/cut holes through walls and floors for the installation of hangers and accommodate pipes
- Layout and mark the positions for pipe sleeves, connections and fixtures, for installations as required
- Pipe fitting experience
- join pipe sections and secure them in position using different methods such as, measure, cut, thread, bend, clamp, solvent cement, solder or weld pipe
- select the type and size of pipe required
- assemble and install fixtures, valves, fittings, flanges
- pressure test pipe systems for leaks
- install underground storm sanitary and water piping system
- Move and install equipment such as boilers, pumps or fan coils
- Mentor and train plumbing apprentices
- Participate in safety inspections and ensure apprentices are following safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe working area at all times
- Follow all Pad-Car Mechanical policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
